Call and describe it
On the phone we identify whether the door is safe to leave and what not to touch.
Doors stuck open, jammed shut or unsafe after a break or derailment.
Some garage door problems cannot wait. A door stuck wide open leaves the house unsecured, and a door jammed shut can leave a vehicle stranded inside. A broken spring, snapped cable or derailed door is also an unstable, heavily loaded mechanism.
Call (647) 493-8072 and describe what happened. We will tell you what to leave alone, how to keep people and vehicles clear, and arrange service to secure the door and make the system safe before completing the repair.

FAQ
Still unsure? Call (647) 493-8072 or email info@suregaragerepair.ca.
Only if no spring or cable has failed. With a broken spring the door is extremely heavy and can drop, so leave it in place and keep people and vehicles clear until it is inspected.
Call (647) 493-8072 and describe the failure. We will advise how to keep the opening as secure as possible and arrange service to get the door closed safely.
Most openers have a manual release cord that disengages the trolley. If the door still will not move by hand, stop — that points to a spring, cable or track failure rather than the power.
